Together, they bring complementary instincts to the studio, creating a natural dialogue that informs every project.
Abrams Design Studio brings together two generations of experience through the partnership of Jen and Samantha Abrams.
JEN ABRAMS
Jen Abrams is Principal Designer and co-founder of Abrams Design Studio, bringing more than fifteen years of experience across residential and commercial interiors.
In 2012, she founded Abrams + Competello Interiors, where she led projects throughout New York, New Jersey, Florida, and Utah. Her work encompasses ground-up residences, full-scale renovations, historic restorations, and commercial spaces, giving her a comprehensive understanding of both the creative and technical sides of design.
Before entering the interiors industry, Jen worked as a jewelry designer, combining vintage textiles with precious metals. This early exploration of material, proportion, and contrast continues to influence her approach today.
Jen has always been drawn to vintage pieces for the individuality and sense of history they bring to a room. She uses them selectively, creating moments of contrast within clean, modern interiors.
Samantha Abrams
Samantha Abrams is a designer and co-founder of Abrams Design Studio. In January 2026, she founded Mr. Interiors, a New York-based, full-service firm specializing in interiors for men defined by a clean, masculine point of view.
She studied at NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate and is a licensed real estate professional, giving her an instinctive understanding of space from both a design and development perspective. Her work at Compass across residential and commercial real estate provided practical experience with property and the way people live, while her time at Stark Carpet and Salon Art + Design introduced her to materials, sourcing, and collectible design.
Samantha brings a fresh, current perspective to the studio. She approaches each project with curiosity and a clear sense of how thoughtful design can make everyday life feel more considered, comfortable, and individual.
